Simple Recipe of the Day: Small Cheese Pound Cake

Sometimes I have this yen for something sweet, but not too sweet. Something savory, but not too savory. You get the idea. I want some light cakes that I can consume with a cup of hot tea. So I made a small one, enough for two (or one greedy gal like yours truly).

You will need
one chicken egg
60 gr flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
20 gr sugar
20 ml vegetable oil
50 gr cheddar cheese (diced)
30 ml milk

Just mix all of the ingredients and bake until done. (Insert a toothpick inside, when it comes out clean, then it is done.)
