Games, Games... Yaddayadda
My partner and I are crazy about board games and other toys that we played when we were little. We've spent the past two weeks hunting for them. Yes, they're quite rare nowadays.
We've spent most of our free time playing Othello. I won once... after a zillion game or so. Either I'm lousy in this game or I'm just too lazy to think. We've also played chess, Nine Men's Morris, Checker, Battle Ship, Snakes and Ladders. I only excelled in the last game, maybe my luck compensated for my poor strategy and concentration.
I put these in my precious box:
- CLUEDO
- 6 in 1 Board Games (Chess, Checker, Ludo, Nine Men's Morris, Snakes and Ladders, Backgammon--still have no idea how to play it!)
- My father's chess set (definitely an antique, made of special wood, horn, decorated with carved sparkling shells)
- Battle Ship
- UNO deck
- Othello
- Rubic's cubes
What else? I think I missed a game or two. Now I want to own a nice set of Monopoly, Scrabble, Twister, Mastermind... I have no idea where to get them!
