My Dream Last Afternoon

There was this ocean. Huge. Sparklingly blue. And I was stuck in a strange-looking speedboat. I had a feeling that it was leaking. The boat needed some fuel. I looked around. I was in some kind of gas station for boats. Somebody was on the verge of having a brawl. My partner and I were ready to bolt at the first sign of danger.

I recited a spell and a prayer. The argument stayed but no physical assault was made. A young girl lent us a gigantic blue bucket. She was sincere. Her smiles were nice. I had no idea what the bucket could do, but oddly enough, it stopped the leak. On and on we sailed the ocean. I longed to put my feet on the water but I was afraid of sharks and jellyfish. The sky was unbelievably clear. I giggled and felt the breeze caressing me.

We arrived in some kind of harbor. Lei was there. She was undeniably pregnant. She was afraid. I shared the same feeling. We walked and walked, finding a building encased in some kind of glass. Water flew here and there, creating an atmosphere. It was quite beautiful. Many mannequins encased in attractive shade of orange clothes tempted Lei and me. We wanted to have a look. Isman urged us to move on. We sulked but decided to continue our pilgrimage. Then there was this ladder. My partner climbed it first. I followed with difficulty. He held my hand and I succeded. Then we helped Lei.

To our utter amazement, we found a rubber boat. We all got in, then let the boat took us down. Water splashed. Sceneries blurred. It was not as dreadful as we thought.

We arrived safely, wet and laughing. The destination was three steps away. We were content, though. Somehow we realized, the goal didn't really matter. It's the journey that matters.
