Some scars will heal and fade in time, but most will be freshly etched in one's memory. For me, it will serve as a reminder to be more careful and wary in the future.(Note: I didn't dare to take a picture when the bandages were first opened because the scars really looked scary and ghastly then. Even my parents said the sight was enough to give them nightmares.
