Jam Recipe #30hariberbagiresep

A very easy recipe. Perfect for ice cream toppings, bread, fillings for pies and such. My brother loves to put my jam into coffee. (But then again, he does have a weird sense of taste, so if you want to follow his lead, proceed with caution!) He told me, mulberry jam is the best for coffee (so far).

Mix two cups of diced fruits with one cup of sugar. Leave for 30 minutes (or in my case, I tend to forget stuff so I usually leave it at an hour or so). You'll notice that the mixture becomes watery. Add one teaspoon of agar-agar powder, mix well. Pour the mixture into a pan, stir in low heat until it boils. Pour into sterilized jars. Wait until it cools before putting the lid. Keep it in a fridge. It should last for a couple of months.
 
So far I have tried raspberries, strawberries (both my favorite), mangoes, kiwis, mulberries.

Tip: if you want the jam to be more liquid, use less agar powder.
